Let us help you take the next step to recovering the life you want to live
One of the greatest things you can do for yourself is to seek support. Whatever support you are looking for, albeit challenging at times, can be a gift you give to yourself that continues to grow the more you provide to it. Even reading this website, you are beginning your journey in recovering a life that you were meant to live, one without overthinking, doubt, criticism, feeling unmotivated, depressed, nervous, or scared. We have short-term goals in this life and in order to meet them, we all face different challenges. It is important to note just how much of a unique individual that you are, someone who is rich with life experiences to help them, even if you do not believe so now, this is something we will work on together. Believe something is important and your confidence in achieving your goals is where you begin. Addressing challenges that impact those goals and confidence (persistent anxiety, panic, depression, history of trauma, family/relationship conflict, addiction) is where Orchid House Counseling begins. Together we meet these challenges head on and help build the life you want to live.
Who we are
Orchid House Counseling, LLC is a fully virtual practice that you can access from the comfort of your home or through the ease of your smart device (computer, smartphone, tablet). While each therapist has individual specialties, all therapists are trauma informed and experienced practitioners trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) – an evidenced based treatment that works on reprogramming distressing memories and emotions from adverse life experiences in as little as 1-3 sessions. In addition to being trauma trained, our therapists are trained to treat issues ranging from anxiety, OCD, panic disorder, agoraphobia, PTSD/CPTSD, social anxiety, men’s issues, life transitions, bereavement (grief and loss), depression, codependency, low self-esteem, body image, eating disorders, mother and father wounds, Type A/workaholics, ACOA (adult children of alcoholics), and addiction (both chemical and process)
We offer
free, 20-minute consultations to prospective clients to give you an opportunity to get a feel for what our personality is like, our style in therapy, and for you to ask any questions and share comments or concerns that we can address that would help you make a decision if you would like to continue with treatment.

K.A
I have hypothetical courage sitting on a shelf somewhere that Christine Garnett metaphorically gave me during our first session. Ever since that moment, I’ve had a good feeling about this process. 15.98/10 would recommend.

Christine has been great. Her attention to detail, empathy, and expertise are helping me make progress in ways I didn’t think I could. I give her strong compliments and my highest recommendation.
